My first commission was being paid to make someone's pet dog Freddie! I feel very happy with this one and despite being colourblind feel I captured the colours and shapes quite well!

Funnily enough, the second commission I've had was also to do someone's dog, this time a Spaniel called Scooby. I was very happy with the outcome and thankfully the customer was equally as pleased with the result!

To my surprise, my third comssion was not another pet dog. It was actually carving a racing truck for someone who used to race the same design. It ended up being both a complex and fun challenge that I feel ended up looking pretty decent!

On December 7th, I was able to run my first ever stall which was a huge success! It was a Christmas Stall, filled with Gromits, Ornaments, Tree Decorations and of course many Xmas themed items. It was something quite special to be able to do and something I hope I can do again sometime in the future. Throughout the day I sold approximately 20 different items and recieved a lot of great compliments as well, which I must say was a true confidence booster!

In December 2025 I was commissioned to do 14 individual runners for a Park Run group. This hands down was one of the most fun yet most complicated commissions I've had yet, especially as it was based purely on descriptions and not with the use of photos whatsoever. Due to the size of it, I was certainly a little nervous and had to really time manage the project well to have it finished in time for the deadline.

For my first ever Etsy sell, I was asked to do my customer's boat, which I must say was a very challenging, yet equally very fun whittle to do. Logistically it was much trickier than it first seemed to be, especially with the different shapes/finer details. The end product was something I am happy with though and overall the buyer was very very happy with the product I delivered.

I was very excited to do a movie commission where I was asked to whittle the 'Mother & Son' figures Maximus carries in the movie Gladiator. There's actually not great footage of the ones in the film, but given the request I feel I met the customers wishes quite accurately. I am hoping I potentially get more movie related commissions in the future and couldn't have enjoyed this more, even if they were a little tricky at times.
